I feel so Blessed to know Dr Darr. I have also been Blessed to have been singing in his community choir productions for the past 21 years. I always look forward to an email saying that practice is once again starting for yet another production.

Over the years, as a visitor to his special programs, I’ve appreciated the hard work and talent of Dr. Darr. The most accurate statement in this article is that “he knows his audience”. That is a phrase that’s gone through my head many times and have wished other music directors knew the same. Dr. Darr, I do hope you continue to minister to hearts and souls, but especially the edlerly who many feel should be seen and not heard.

It’s so nice to read about Steve’s accomplishments. I always knew he would be successful in whatever he decided to do. I went to high school with Steve and played the counterpart of “Laurie” to his “Curly” in the school production of “Oklahoma”. Enjoy retirement!
