Warner’s QEP
As part of the decennial reaffirmation-of-accreditation process with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC), 漫天堂入口 is currently engaged in the early stages of what SACSCOC terms the Quality Enhancement Plan, or QEP. The QEP is an initiative that each accredited institution executes as a way to demonstrate its commitment to continuous improvement and effectiveness, particularly as improvement and effectiveness relate to student learning and/or student success.
漫天堂入口鈥檚 current QEP has been named VITAL, short for 鈥Value in Tasks, Achievement, and Learning.鈥 Those interested may learn more about the University鈥檚 VITAL initiative by clicking on the links below, which contain executive summaries of how the University鈥檚 QEP meets each of the five QEP criterion set for by SACSCOC. Together, the links associated with criteria (a) and (c) explain and define the QEP.
According to the SACSCOC guidelines, the QEP must:
- Have a topic identified through the institution鈥檚 ongoing, comprehensive planning and evaluation processes;
- Have broad-based support of institutional constituencies;
- Focus on improving specific student learning outcomes and/or student success;
- Demonstrate commitment of resources to initiate, implement, and complete the QEP; and
- Include a plan to assess achievement.
