Family involvement is a huge part of a student鈥檚 success at college鈥攅specially during the first year. That鈥檚 why Warner has partnered with to launch a new WU Family Experience portal that will serve as a one-stop shop for families looking for campus resources to help their students succeed.
The new WU Family Experience will launch on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, and is a free service for all current and prospective Warner families to use. Although we heavily encourage all prospective and first-year families to sign up to aid with the transition to college life, families of second, third, and fourth-year students are also encouraged to sign-up to learn about campus resources, events, and announcements.
鈥淚鈥檓 really excited about the resources we鈥檒l be able to push to parents through the new Family Experience portal,鈥� said Scarlett Jackson, Director of Admissions. 鈥淭he goal is to provide parents, whether near or far away, with the knowledge they need to help their student succeed academically, spiritually, and socially in college.鈥�
Families can fully customize the news they see in their portal by selecting from a variety of communities including Financial Aid and Scholarships, Campus Life, Athletics, Spiritual Formation, Health and Wellness, and Career Development. Families can join new communities at any time by selecting 鈥淒iscover Communities鈥� on the bottom left-hand column of the portal鈥檚 page. Families can also set the frequencies at which they receive communications.
After the WU Family Experience portal launches on Tuesday, you will be able to access it by among to www.warner.edu, selecting the 鈥淎dmissions鈥� dropdown, and clicking on the 鈥淔amily Experience鈥� page.
